Interests:
As a therapist, I find myself drawing from various schools of thought including systemic, solution focused and existential therapies. I view therapy as a joint effort between the therapist and the client. I believe empathy and being present with clients provides a safe environment in which individuals are free to move towards change. Coming from a marriage and family therapy background, I believe it is important to work not only with the individual but also with those people who surround and make up that individual's environment.
Hobbies:
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading just about anything, dabbling in the arts, yoga, and eating junk food.
