Inspiring Hope, Honoring Stories and Creating Changeā I provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, exposure to a trauma, family change, parenting, abuse and loss. My specialty is working with traumatized children and their caregivers. As a psychotherapist, the modalities I use most often are: Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Trauma focused, Play, Sand Tray, Sensorimotor, Family, Attachment, Psychoeducation, Spiritual, and Developmental. As a clinical social worker, I view the whole person in the environment and situation the person lives in. Each person has a story and deserves to be listened to and helped through their process of healing.
Hobbies:
I enjoy playing the guitar, singing and writing music. I like to dance to music and am an avid Zumba fan; I also enjoy cultural and spiritual dances. Swimming laps and taking walks are how I exercise. I enjoy being with my family and barbecuing. I like to watch hockey, football, figure skating and gymnastics. I am a fan of nature, and believe that nature and water are restorative. I am a big fan of God.
