Interests:
I practiced civil litigation for 25 years, representing individuals and corporations in civil disputes (personal injury, products liability, contract, insurance and others). I gained valuable experience in dealing with conflict, many of which involved emotional as well as physical injuries and issues. I participated in hundreds of negotiations, mediations and trials, seeing both the good and bad that happen when parties are in conflict. I am a “Qualified Neutral” for civil and family mediations under Minnesota General Rule of Practice 114. I am also a member of the Christian Legal Society and have taught courses in a Biblical approach to conflict resolution, particularly helpful to those believers who wish to honor God in the midst of difficult times. I look forward to applying my training and experience to help individuals deal with conflict and relationships in a healthy way.
Hobbies:
I enjoy serving as a soccer and basketball referee for high school and youth games after watching my kids play a variety of sports. My wife and I are active in our church and we both enjoy music and reading. We are the parents of three adult children.
