Andover Mental Health Day Program

Adult Day Treatment

Andover Mental Health Day Program is an Adult Day Treatment (ADT) program that helps you live independently by providing the daily skills needed to deal with symptoms of mental illness.

As the Minnesota Department of Human Services states, “ADT is a short-term, community-based mental health program consisting of group psychotherapy, rehabilitative interventions, and other therapeutic group services provided by a multidisciplinary team.” It is client-centered; focusing on individual participant needs as well as offering added support and learning through the group dynamics.

Andover’s Mental Health Day Program is an entire group therapy treatment and is considered a higher level of care. You will have the opportunity to connect with peers who can relate to and understand your mental health concerns in a non-judgmental and supportive environment. Participants are encouraged to continue receiving support from their existing providers, such as individual therapists, psychiatrists, and ARMHS workers while they are in ADT.
