Clinical Approach:
I am a relational psychotherapist who believes that healing happens within the context of supportive relationship. I believe in the inherent dignity of all human beings and work to create an environment that honors your agency and pace for verbally processing difficult, painful, and traumatic experiences. I respect, value, and celebrate both shared human experience as well as the dazzling array of difference and diversity that informs the lives of the people I work with. I have a special fondness for working with creatives, emerging adults, healthcare workers, working therapists and therapists-in-training. It is my hope that you will connect with greater awareness, compassion, and meaning in your life as a result of working with me.
Hobbies:
In addition to being a therapist, I am also a meditator, yoga instructor, and dog mom. I read voraciously, love the theater, both on stage and as a patron, and spend time camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness whenever I have the chance.
