More About Andrea Anderson

Clinical Interests:

My primary clinical interests include working with individuals 5+, couples, and families coping with issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma experiences, relationship difficulties, LGBTQ+ (I am an ally), stress management, self-esteem, attachment issues, and grief and loss. I also enjoy working with criminal justice system involved individuals.

Clinical Approach:

I work alongside clients, individualizing my treatment approach, to meet them where they are at. I use a trauma informed, strengths- based approach and am strongly influenced by Family Systems Theory. My primary approaches include Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I am passionate about creating an non-judgmental and compassionate environment where clients feel safe, heard, and respected. I consider it an honor and a privilege to walk beside clients as they change and grow to live their best lives.

I am an avid reader and enjoy spending time with my partner, our daughter, and our 2 cats. I enjoy traveling and being outside. My pronouns are she/her/hers.
