Clinical Interests:
I have worked with adults and children with mental health concerns for 6 years along with 7 years of experience in chemical dependency. I strive to provide culturally competent services from a strengths-based perspective. I have a special interest in working with individuals who are experiencing perinatal and postpartum mood disorders along with survivors of abuse and trauma.
Clinical Approach:
I utilize motivational interviewing in my work on a daily basis, an approach that I value as it is person-centered and supports self-efficacy.
Hobbies:
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and cross stitching. I have 2 parakeets that also keep me entertained.
