Clinical Interests:

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across the lifespan. I have experience working with individuals of all ages with a wide range of mental health disorders. My clinical interests include working with individuals with depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and personality disorders.

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approach begins with building a strong therapeutic relationship with patients by providing a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment and through active listening, empathy, and compassion. I believe in utilizing evidence-based, holistic, and patient-centered approaches to achieve the best possible outcomes. This allows for treatment plans with realistic and attainable goals that reflect the specific preferences and needs of each patient. I believe developing an individualized treatment plan should be a collaborative process between the patient and provider and encourage my patients to be active participants in their treatment.

Hobbies:

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and my cats. I love being outdoors, in nature, and finding new places to go hiking. I am fan of art and individual expression and enjoy creating jewelry and framed (ethically sourced) insect specimens. I am also a huge fan of music and attend concerts whenever I am able.
