More About Austin Williams
Clinical Interests:
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, identity development, and relational boundary issues. My clinical interests include supporting young adults, college students, and older adults facing life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, and identity exploration. I have a particular interest in family dynamics, wellness integration, and client empowerment. I strive to help clients build sustainable coping tools that reflect their values and needs.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices to help clients deepen self-awareness and develop practical tools for change. I approach therapy with warmth, cultural sensitivity, and nonjudgment. I believe healing happens in the context of trust and curiosity, and I aim to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. Whether you’re working through trauma, navigating relationships, or learning how to manage anxiety or ADHD, my goal is to walk alongside you with intention and care.
Hobbies:
I enjoy a wide range of hobbies, especially anything related to technology and creativity. I’m an avid gamer and love exploring genres like FPS, ARPGs, RPGs, and roguelikes. I also enjoy building custom PCs and keeping up with new hardware releases. Outside the digital world, I love to cook and challenge myself to learn a new cuisine each year — it’s one of my favorite ways to relax and connect with others.
