More About Bryn Soland
Clinical Interests:
My experience has generally been with individuals, but I am also interested in working with families, youth, and couples as well. I have experience working with clients who are struggling with a range of mental illnesses and issues they are working through. My primary areas of interest are relationship anxiety/issues, faith/prayer integration (if desired), college-aged and student issues, self-esteem issues, life transitions, caregiver stress, parent-child relationships and attachment, adoption issues, post-abortion recovery, depression, and anxiety. I am happy to see clients outside of this scope as well.
Clinical Approach:
I like to provide my clients with the knowledge they need to make a collaborative decision on the best therapeutic approach for them. I have experience providing a strengths-based, person-centered approach while incorporating psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, role play, mindfulness, and goal-setting. My primary goal is to make my clients feel comfortable and safe to authentically share their struggles and thoughts, and provide them with the support they need to discover and achieve their healing and goals in therapy.
Hobbies:
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my dog, Bailey. My hobbies include camping, hiking, acting, reading, and cooking.
