More About Caroline Langevin
I have worked with children in residential treatment as well as center-based treatment. I have worked with children who experience a wide variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma, as well as working with their family.
I believe it is important to initially engage with the client by meeting them where they are versus telling them how and where to be. It is crucial to begin interactions in a way that makes them feel valued and empowered. I also believe it is important to adjust my approach to each individual and family that I work with, while also maintaining a strengths-based and trauma-informed perspective. Due to working with children diagnosed with ASD, I also enjoy utilizing cognitive behavioral strategies.
I recently moved to Savage MN so I am still adjusting to the many activities available right at my doorstep. I enjoy being outside, whether that be going for a bike ride or taking my cat for a walk. I also enjoy craft shows and thrifting.
