More About Chris Wallin

Clinical Interests:

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families in the home and clinic settings. I also enjoy seeing children and adolescents in the school setting and other areas in the community where they may be having difficulty. Specialty areas include, cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy approaches, developmental therapy, behavioral disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, Attention-Deficit and disruptive behavior disorders, impulse control disorders, adjustment disorders, abuse and violence, autism, anger management, crisis intervention, blended and single parent families, family therapy, pervasive developmental disorders, and parenting issues.

Clinical Approach:

My theoretical orientation to therapy and supervision is based on a cognitive-behavioral and developmental perspective of the development of the child/adolescent. In addition, I utilize aspects of many other theoretical approaches to providing therapy and supervision.

Hobbies:

My interests include traveling, hiking, biking, skiing, being in the outdoors, and playing music on my bass.
