More About Jade Rechtzigel

Clinical Interests:

I primarily provide mental health services to individuals (ages 13+) with a variety of mental health diagnoses. My previous experience includes working with individuals with sexual addiction and/or sexual concerns, personality disorders, substance use, developmental/cognitive delays, anxiety, and depression who were court-ordered. Additionally, I have interest in working with mental health diagnoses and issues relating, but not limited to schizophrenia, bipolar, guilt/shame, life transitions, grief & loss, relationship issues, stress management, self-esteem, parenting, and sexual intimacy. I also have special interest in working with women trying to conceive & pregnant or postpartum mothers. I mainly work with individuals but am open to working with couples and families, as well.

Clinical Approach:

I am devoted to providing a space where my clients feel welcomed, safe, and respected. I want to create a nonjudgmental and healing environment for client's to work through life's difficulties. My clinical approach is mainly based in cognitive behavioral therapy while also using a person-centered approach. I believe my clients know themselves best and I want to learn all I can from them. I tend to work through a trauma informed lens and have a passion to provide a holistic approach in my mental health practice. However, I don't think therapy is "one size fits all" so other approaches may be used depending on my clients including strength-based concepts, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing and mindfulness.

Hobbies:

My personal interests and hobbies include spending time with my husband, daughter and two dogs. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, baking, gardening, and reading.
