Clinical Interests:

I have a passion for working with individuals who have a mental health diagnosis and or substance use disorder. I believe that everyone can benefit from having someone walk alongside them and support them in learning new skills and a different perspective. I enjoy working with individuals who are struggling completing daily activities due to their mental health and are willing to learn and grow.

Clinical Approach:

I use a client centered approach where I listen to what the client wants to accomplish and using their strengths to accomplish their goals. I believe that the client needs to be the center in developing a plan using their strengths. I use motivational interviewing to help the client answer their own questions from a compassionate, understanding, nonjudgmental perspective so that a client can fully be themselves in order to best assist them.

Hobbies:

I enjoy being outdoors playing sports, running, and camping. I love to read for my personal growth, education, and for fun so my bookshelves are overwhelmingly full.
