More About Jessica Parks
Clinical Interests:
My specific interests are working with individuals, children, families and couples in any season of life. I have experiencing treating PTSD, Depression, ADHD, Anxiety, ASD, Adjustment Disorder, Self-Harm, Eating Disorders, family conflict, blended families, coparenting, parenting skills, communication skills and conflict resolution. My primary focus is helping others understand mental health struggles and explore past and present circumstances to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their process of being, which can help to gain autonomy in navigating through life.
Clinical Approach:
I approach therapy through a systemic lens that incorporates attachment, strengths-based, trauma-informed concepts as well as a growth-mindset. I utilize a blend of Narrative, Experiential, Emotion-Focused, Structural and Humanistic frameworks. During sessions I often use art and play based interventions, psychoeducation and handouts, and experiential exercises.
Hobbies:
I enjoy painting, yoga, hiking and being outdoors, photography, video games and board games. My faith is God is important to me, and I seek a deeper relationship with Jesus in every season. I love my iced coffee, and I have four cats names Rin, Kanna, Momo Hime and Neko.
