More About Katy Radloff
Clinical Interests:
I am dedicated to supporting children through their unique developmental journeys by focusing on issues such as adverse childhood experiences, adjustment difficulties, and traumatic stress responses. My interests include addressing anxiety, emotional and psychological challenges. I aim to provide individualized, compassionate care that addresses behavioral concerns and supports the overall growth and resilience of each child in a safe and empowering environment.
Clinical Approach:
I view each person through a strengths-based lens, focusing on the individual’s unique abilities, resources, and environment. My family-centered approach involves understanding each family’s goals, expectations, and daily life. With a strong commitment to trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices, I craft individualized treatment plans to address each person’s unique needs.
My approach includes cognitive-behavioral play therapy, trauma-informed care, and solutions-focused therapy, with an emphasis on creating a safe space and providing tools for change. I integrate attachment theory, mindfulness, emotion regulation, and internal family systems theory to support emotional growth. My goal is to create a nurturing environment where individuals can overcome challenges and build a foundation for lasting positive change.
Hobbies:
I value adventures with my husband and kids and enjoy reading, biking, hiking, and exploring state and national parks to connect with nature. I also appreciate spending time with friends and practicing Pilates, which helps me stay active and centered. When I’m not busy with these activities, you can often find me trying to convince my family that my homemade pizza is better than takeout!
