More About Kimberly Carl

Clinical Interests:

I enjoy working with a variety of individuals. Within my career I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations. I spent some time working with women and children within a domestic violence shelter, working with individuals within an outpatient treatment program assisting them with addiction and mental health concerns, and with individuals experiencing mental health and/or personal crisis. I have an interest in working with individuals of all ages that have experienced trauma and those experiencing mental health issues due to SPMI's (Severe Persistent Mental Illness).

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approach is Solution Focus as well a CBT, Mindfulness. What I believe is most important is building a safe place for growth, healing and understanding. It is important to understand the individual's needs and work to achieve them.

Hobbies:

I enjoy hiking, spending time with my dogs and creating things with my hands such as painting drawing and beadwork.
