More About Kimberly Sommers

Clinical Interests:

I work with identity development concerns, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and adjustment. I collaboratively work with clients to develop treatment goals and select interventions. With my clients, I place concerns within their larger context and focus on developing coping strategies to better address current life stress. Change and growth can be hard and challenging and I hope to be a supportive part of this process with each of my clients.

Clinical Approach:

I use a feminist psychology approach in my clinical and assessment work. This is a technically eclectic approach focused on uniquely addressing each person's presenting concerns and functioning.

I enjoy baking bread, walking my dog, and watching bad reality television.
