Clinical Interests:

I have been an LADC for almost 2 years now. Within the two years, I have worked in both residential and outpatient programs. Throughout that time, I have come to realize that I prefer workin with outpatient services. One thing I'm interested in, is to continue working in the LADC environments and being able to move up within a company and hopefully become a clinical supervisor or director.

Clinical Approach:

My main clinical approach that I use with clients is motivational interviewing. This is a great approach as it helps building rapport with the client. When I am working with a more challenging client, I tend to discuss questions such as hobbies or something they are interested in. I tend to do this if the client remains quiet and does not want to engage in the intake, groups and individual sessions.

Hobbies:

Some of my hobbies include: Hiking, agate picking along the north shore, cooking, Pour painting, and doing Diamond Dots.
