Clinical Interests:
I have always been passionate and committed to the mental health field. My areas of clinical interests and specialty are trauma, anxiety, depression, and child welfare. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. I am also passionate about providing mental health services to our BIPOC community in the Twin Cities area. I am fluent in Hmong and English.
Clinical Approach:
I see mental health treatment as a lifelong process, one that is a unique journey to each individual towards healing, acceptance, and finding a balance to manage one's mental health needs. Which is why I use a variety of clinical approach to include person-centered, looking through cultural lens, holistic, strength based, psycho-education, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe in meeting the person where they are at, and walking along side them in their journey towards healing.
Hobbies:
On my free time I enjoy walking, biking, watching movies, shopping, traveling, and resting.
