Matthew received a Bachelor of Applied Studies with an emphasis in human relations from the University of Iowa. He is currently completing his Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa. Matthew worked in the medical field for 16 before following his calling to become a mental health therapist. Matthew honed his skills providing therapy in an urgent care setting seeing clients of all ages that were struggling with mental health issues. He is passionate about creating a safe space where trust can be established. Matthew will empathize with you and help you to develop the next steps to obtain the healing that you desire.

Matthew enjoys reading a good story or improving on his running times. Most of all, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy and his 2 kids, Pearl and Jack.
