Clinical Interests:
I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced intergenerational or chronic trauma, such as domestic violence, abuse and neglect, family conflict, custody disputes, or grief and loss. I have been a child advocate for a majority of my career. I enjoy working with adolescents and their families.
Clinical Approach:
Trauma-informed, mindfulness-based practices incorporating CBT. My clinical approach varies with each unique client, common approaches I utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, somatic therapy, and can be spirituality-based, if desired.
Hobbies:
My hobbies include building puzzles, yoga, camping, billiards, and the arts/theater.
My favorite activity is spending quality time with my family. We enjoy game nights and movies!
