More About Michelle Huber
Clinical Interests:
I work individually and in group settings with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, the effects of trauma, grief and loss, attention difficulties, interpersonal challenges, relationship conflict, lack of support and community resources, struggles with the tasks of independent living and self care, self esteem issues, and life transitions.
Clinical Approach:
I work from a strengths-based perspective, incorporating CBT, DBT, mindfulness training, and the creative arts therapies, adopting an eclectic approach tailored to each client's unique path to healing. I enjoy using dream work, archetype, nature, writing, spirituality, self compassion, and mind-body practices such as qigong, breath work, visualization, and meditation to help clients navigate their way to greater well being of body, mind, and spirit.
Hobbies:
I enjoy writing, cooking, doing anything outdoors, hanging out with my dog, being with friends and family, qigong, poetry, movies, and a good read.
