More About Michelle Pfau
Clinical Interests:
My specialties and clinical interests include providing individual therapy for patients ages 6+, clients of varying ability, co-occurring substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, panic disorders, trauma recovery, chronic pain, autism, attachment concerns, cluster B personality disorders, and CBT treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder. I have interest in holistic care.
Clinical Approach:
My priority is to meet my clients where they are and utilize person-centered, strength-based, and motivational interviewing to support and assist them in their journey towards mental health, trauma, and/or substance abuse recovery. I try to instill hope when my patients have difficulty finding it. I am also savvy in Cognitive Behavior Therapy to assist my patients in uncovering mistaken beliefs they may hold and challenge these beliefs in order for my patients to discover their full potential.
Hobbies:
I enjoy the outdoors including camping, canoeing, hunting, fishing, and gardening. Aside from the outdoors I enjoy crocheting, art, coffee, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
