Clinical Interests:
I am very interested in working with clients with anxiety and depression as well as different types of life stressors or adjustment disorders. I have experience working with many different populations of clients and am willing to work with all individuals!
Clinical Approach:
I have experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Motivational Interviewing(MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT), and Couples and Family Counseling.
Hobbies:
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I also enjoy reading, crocheting, knitting, and although my artistic abilities are limited, I do enjoy completing different types of art projects, especially with my Cricut. I also work part time at a nonprofit called Deafinitely Dogs that raises and trains service dogs for individuals with PTSD, psychiatric, and deaf/hard of hearing disabilities and I find great fulfillment in that. I have a deep respect for those that have served and I dedicate some of my spare time to volunteer for other organizations that serve veterans such as a nonprofit called Casting Away Disabilities which is a week long fishing event for disabled veterans. Many of them don’t get to leave their homes except for this event and it means a lot to them so being a part of that is a huge honor as well.
