More About Nancy Nyabuti

Clinical Interests:

As a mental health therapist, I am passionate about supporting individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. My clinical interests include working with a broad range of mental health disorders, with a special focus on children, teens, young adults, and parents. I also have a strong interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals. I strive to create a compassionate and inclusive space for all my clients, guiding them toward mental wellness and personal growth.

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approach is client focused, where my main focus is in truly understanding each client’s unique needs and experiences. I pull from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices and other evidence-based practices. I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can feel heard and valued. By building a healthy and trusting therapeutic relationship, I strive to walk alongside individuals as we work together to find the strategies and insights they need to navigate their challenges and achieve their emotional wellbeing.

Hobbies:

In my free time, I love being outdoors, whether it’s spending time with family, friends, or our pets. I also enjoy reading fictional books loosely based on reality, as they provide a unique blend of imagination and truth. Gardening is another passion of mine, where I find peace and fulfillment through nurturing plants and connecting with nature.
