More About Nicholas Little
Clinical Interests:
My clinical interests include primarily individual styles of therapy that support the mind’s connection with the body. I am interested in incorporating mindfulness, somatic-based therapy experience, and connecting them with challenges that we face on a daily basis. This includes challenges with addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, and phase of life challenges. I am very interested in the neuro-affective relational model (NARM) of therapy and will be pursuing the certification to practice NARM alongside my licensure.
Clinical Approach:
I primarily approach therapy with a person-centered, and existential lens. It is my belief that we know our selves best, no matter what life throws at us. Alongside this foundation, I strive to help build a space around curiosity in order to gain a deeper understanding of our sense of self. I find my foundations in mindfulness-based approaches and incorporate body-based somatic experiences into the therapy session. Above all, my role is to help deepen the connection we have to our own traditional and inner wisdom.
Hobbies:
I have a diverse array of professional interests that span multiple areas. Each reflect my ultimate commitment to the joy of lifelong learning and personal growth. My daily hobbies include practicing yoga and meditation, as well as reading, writing and storytelling. In my free time, I enjoy playing Dungeons & Dragons with a group of friends every week, playing video games (both new and old), and hanging out with my partner, Emily, and our two dogs, Bennie, and Piper. I have several secondary hobbies that are numerous and often ebb and flow to reflect where I am in life.
