Clinical Approach:
Soultion Focused Therapy – Clients have personal, identifiable strengths that can be tapped into when needed, especially ones that have worked for them in the past. Additionally, they also have resources such as family, friends, co-workers, community outreach centers, or faith practicing institutions that help ally or anchor them through tough times. The culmination of both strengths and resources makes the client the person to solve the issues that burden them.
Narrative Therapy – Telling Your Story In a Healthy Way – Clients may come in with a version of themselves but it is usually written by another person. This model allows them to take over authorship because no one can tell your story like you.
This clinician’s approach is one employed by Dr. Carl Rogers – He believed and employed Unconditional Positive Regard, which charges this clinician to meet clients where they are at, which gives them the space to learn how to become the best version of themselves.
Hobbies:
Writing, reading, prayer and meditation, research, swimming, traveling, fishing and spending time with family.
