More About Sadie Baxter

Clinical Interests:

I graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My graduate research focused on Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, which is a passion of mine. I’ve also had the privilege of working with a variety of individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, abuse, neglect, life transitions, domestic violence, and more. If you are not sure where you fit into this picture- that’s okay. You don’t need to have all the answers when you come in; that’s what we’ll do together.

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approach is eclectic and individualized to you. I believe that a strong, authentic relationship is paramount to effective therapy. I look through a trauma-informed lens and apply many theories through that including interpersonal, humanistic, psycho-dynamic, multicultural, schema-based, strengths-based, cognitive-behavioral, systems theory, and a wide range of humor.
