More About Sarah Aanonson

Clinical Interests:

I enjoy helping children, adolescents, and adults learn to improve their mental health to improve their quality of life for those experiencing, trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, PTSD, grief and loss, ADHD, and additional emotional dysregulation and mood disorders.

Clinical Approach:

I initially take a strengths based approach by learning the strengths of the individual to integrate and individualize the treatment with the client that would be best for them. This includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma therapy, play therapy techniques, solution focused therapy, sand tray techniques, or creative arts to allow people to achieve the quality of life they wish to accomplish.

I enjoy spending time with my family, going for walks with my dogs, hiking, playing the piano, singing, and dancing.
