More About Sarah Ahn Lentz
Clinical Interests:
Sarah invites curiosity, compassion, accountability, and even humor into the therapy experience. While encouraging clients to explore their own familial and cultural experiences and identities, Sarah welcomes open conversations about race, gender, class, power, and sexuality. She offers guidance for people to explore how forces like history, intersections of power and privilege, and popular culture shape their lives and inform their mental health and relationships. Sarah is particularly interested in working with people exploring identity, racial trauma, life transitions, adoption, unconventional relationships and highly sensitive people. She is a trained Brainspotting therapist for those seeking a unique, non-traditional way to free themselves from trauma & stress.
Clinical Approach:
Sarah's approach is based in Experiential, Bowenian, and Feminist schools of family therapy. She is a liberation-focused, relational-cultural therapist that incorporates somatics, IFS, & play therapy concepts in her work with clients of all ages.
Hobbies:
Sarah enjoys walking in nature, trying new foods, and analyzing and talking about reality television shows.
