More About Sarah Ragan
Clinical Interests:
I specialize in outpatient therapy with women, children (ages four and up), adolescents, teens, young adults, and faith based individuals. I have a special interest in treating anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, mood disorders, grief, ADHD, adjustment disorders, LGBTQIA+ dynamics, and trauma.
Clinical Approach:
I utilize a mixture of cognitive behavioral therapy skills and techniques along with DBT, TFCBT, solution focused, aspects of DBT and other techniques to meet my client's needs and provide the best possible care. I believe a strong therapeutic alliance and rapport building play a large part in the success of the client. My goal with working with clients is to meet them where they are and walk beside them, scaffolding support so that the client is able to succeed in their treatment and learn how to manage symptoms so that they can live their best lives!
Hobbies:
I enjoy spending time with my three boys who are 8, 8, and 7, traveling, spending time with my dogs-Bella (boxer shepherd mix) and Sadie (Plott hound), and spending time outside. I love being near the water and enjoy spending time hiking and exploring. I also enjoy reading and listening to podcasts.
