More About Sarah Royer-Stoll
Clinical Interests:
I have extensive experience and training within trauma-informed practice, racial justice, LGBTQ+ care and issues, care along the gender spectrum, solution-focused therapy, narrative-based therapy, motivational interviewing, humanistic psychology, individuals living with HIV/AIDS, individuals experiencing chronic houselessness, addiction treatment, and diversity/equity/inclusion efforts. My greatest passion is working with individuals who have marginalized experiences, in order to foster compassion, empowerment, and autonomy within the behavioral health realm.
Clinical Approach:
I am a very relational provider who appreciates dialogue and collaborative exploration of multiple tools in order to foster mental health rehabilitation. I've been told by patients and colleagues that I am a kind and empathic listener. I believe wholeheartedly in the ability to transform and grow, and that there is deep strength and resilience demonstrated in accessing behavioral health services. I'm so proud of you for taking this step!
Hobbies:
Travel, cats, music, being close to water, especially Lake Superior and the ocean, antiquing/thrifting, spending time with my family and friends, navigating spirituality topics and issues, and visiting unique coffee shops.
