More About Stephanie Lewerke
Clinical Interests:
I have experience working with men and women struggling with: anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/loss, PTSD/trauma, borderline personality disorder, disordered eating, body images issues, bipolar disorder, emotion regulation issues, self-esteem issues, addiction struggles, co-dependency, communication struggles, relationship issues, working through CPS struggles, and boundary issues.
Clinical Approach:
I utilize a number of therapeutic modalities, including: person-centered, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills. By integrating these approaches, I help clients build resilience, foster self-awareness, and develop effective coping strategies. Additionally, I am pleased to offer Christian faith-based approaches upon request, integrating spiritual perspectives to support clients who seek this dimension in their healing journey.
Hobbies:
In my free time I enjoy playing video games, hosting board game nights, playing Dungeons and Dragons with my friends, watching horror movies, and playing bass guitar on my church worship team. I am a bit of a nerd/geek and enjoy dressing up for Comic-cons and the Renaissance Festival.
