More About Alissa Litwiller

Clinical Interests:

I have a passion for addressing eating disorders, self-esteem/body image, self-harm, and working with the LGBTQ+ population. My experience is largely with adolescents however I enjoy working with young adults and adults as well! I believe everyone can benefit from therapeutic services. I will work with my clients to meet them where they are at in their life and/or treatment to address their presenting needs. Additionally, I collaborate with my client closely to ensure they take an active role in the relationship and their treatment progress.

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approaches are primarily CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and a DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy).

Hobbies:

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time with my dog! We love exploring new parks. I also go on many adventures with my nephews and niece.
