Clinical Interests:
Prior to becoming a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, my professional experience consisted primarily of empowering people with disabilities and/or working with those involved in the criminal justice system. I have professional experience working with both adults and juveniles, in residential and outpatient/community based programs.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach could best be described as person-centered, but I am also solution focused. I meet clients where they are at and treat clients in a non-judgmental, empathetic manner. I genuinely enjoy getting to know clients and helping individuals discover their own "why." I provide group therapy and individual sessions, teaching recovery tools that make it possible for clients to live their best lives.
Hobbies:
When not working, my life revolves around family, friends, and furry pets. Originally from Wisconsin, I am a HUGE fan of the Green Bay Packers and football. I like to read, watch movies, and enjoy camping/the outdoors. I also love yoga and walks with my dog.
