I work with clients age 15 – 115. My clinical interests include aging-related issues, gender and sexuality, self-esteem, SPMI, and relationship issues. I work with individuals, couples, and families.
I vary my approach depending on each client's needs, interests, and goals for treatment. I draw primarily from Attachment Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems. I have found these modalities useful in supporting clients in creating a greater sense of understanding and acceptance of themselves and security in their relationships.
I enjoy mystery novels, baking, yoga, running, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family (both human and furry).
