Clinical Interests:
I work with adolescents and families in our DBT program that are experiencing a wide variety of emotional and interpersonal conflict areas. I also work with adults in our DBT program struggling with borderline personality disorder, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach is foundational in dialectical behavioral therapy, balancing acceptance and change strategies to assist client cope with everyday challenges. Other therapeutic tools that I utilize in clinical practice include: strength-based, client-centered approach, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy.
Some of my personal interests are related to living an active lifestyle such as running, working out, coaching hockey, golfing, and boating. I also enjoy gardening and exploring nature.
