Outpatient Mental Health Professional
I work with children and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, attachment issues and those experiencing symptoms of ADD/ADHD and Autism. I also work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief & loss, addictions, and those experiencing symptoms of PTSD. I also work with families experiencing conflict, and those who identify as a part of the LGBTQ community.
There are a few clinical approaches I use, depending on age and where they are at in their wellness journey. These approaches are done collaboratively with the client and/or family, exploring how to improve overall functioning. I am heavily influenced by the works of Alfred Adler, Carl Jung and Erik Erickson, specifically in self-development, identity development, social development and family systems. I also incorporate art, play, strength-based, solution-focused, narrative therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, person-centered, Gestalt and DBT techniques.
I enjoy spending time with my family either at home or up north. I also enjoy fishing, baking, playing guitar, singing and anything outside.
