Clinical Approach:
Therapeutically, I work with children (6+) up to middle adulthood (late 30s/early 40s) whether meeting with an individual or the whole family system. I have specific interests in working with athletes (amateurs and professional) and LGBTQ individuals (having developed anti-bullying programs for LGBTQ youth). I have experience with gender identity and sexual orientation, Autism, mood and/or anxiety concerns, trauma, stress, anger management, oppositional behaviors, addiction/substance, personality problems, relationship issues, and transition/life adjustment difficulties. For evaluations, I work with children (age 7+) and adults to develop a firmer understanding of the whole person to make useful clinical recommendations in the areas of cognitive functioning capabilities, ADHD, learning struggles, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and general diagnostic clarification.
Hobbies:
I am an avid USMS swimmer and competitor, enjoy the outdoors including camping, fishing, downhill skiing, playing with my dog, and geeking out at Comic-Con and Sci-Fi conventions.
