Clinical Approach:
I use a person centered, strength based approach and person in environment/systems approach to empower individuals to better manage their symptoms and lives, using interventions such as , but not limited to, cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness strategies instruction, motivational interviewing, skills instruction and validation. With a background in special education, I bring an awareness of the unique needs of special populations, particularly individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind. I am able to communicate directly with individuals using American Sign Language (ASL).
I enjoy playing pickleball, reading, rooting for my favorite sports teams, coloring and travel.
