Outpatient Mental Health Practitioner
I work with families in conflict and assist with behavioral issues and communication. I also work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and those struggling with life transitions.
I use an Adlerian approach that looks at the individual in relationship to their past and present community (be it family, neighborhood, or the world). The client is an indivisible whole made up of their unique experiences that ultimately shape their reality. I use a strengths based approach and encouragement, because I believe it is never too late to get "unstuck". As Alfred Adler said, "Everything can be different".
I spend a lot of time with my family and my dogs. I like being active outside and enjoying all the seasonal community events the Twin cities have to offer, as much as possible.
