Clinical Interests:
I love working with adolescents and adults. My interests are the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, dual diagnosis (addiction and mental health), personality disorders, stress management, self esteem and assertiveness training, grief and loss, serious persistent mental illness, adult ADHD, and issues associated with aging and chronic medical conditions.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I use elements from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Rational emotive Therapy, Spirituality and Transactional Analysis. I am straight forward and consistent. I believe individuals grow from hearing, seeing and doing the work; from engaging all the senses.
Hobbies:
I love reading, playing with my dogs, fishing and exercising ( I could benefit from doing more of this). I'm into crafting.
