More About Hannah Schott

Clinical Interests:

I work with clients ages six and up experiencing adolescent issues, anxiety and stress management, past trauma, self-harm, suicidal idealization, and ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder symptoms.

Clinical Approach:

I believe in a holistic approach to mental well-being, collaboratively working with my client to improve their physical, emotional and mental health. I challenge and empower the client with a culturally appropriate relational approach. I am experienced with informing my work with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and am comfortable incorporating the DBT skills, which include distress tolerance, mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation. I also will use a combination of solution focused therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to inform my work.

Hobbies:

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and hiking and camping with my dogs. I enjoy birdwatching and have pet parrots as well. I am usually busy on a craft project.
