More About Heather Mask

Clinical Interests:

Assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. Background in psychology and social work, with over a decade of experience providing clinical mental health therapy. Certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Skilled in supporting mood and anxiety disorders, emotional and behavioral dysregulation, neurodiversity, self-image, relationship and family dynamics, grief and loss, trauma, and other life stressors and transitions.

Clinical Approach:

I believe everyone has personal strengths and is capable of growth. I believe in the therapeutic relationship as the basis for positive changes. I am passionate about partnering with people to increase their intrapersonal wellness and to improve interpersonal dynamics. Using a combination of therapeutic approaches, I mostly focus on a strengths-based approach to view a person within their environment while exploring self-awareness, fostering motivation, and utilizing a cognitive behavioral framework to support your mental health goals. If you are ready to take the next step in your personal wellness journey, then I look forward to supporting you in processing and growing through any challenges in your life.

Hobbies:

I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and pets. We spend a lot of time cooking, camping, and attending sports and musical activities. I love being outdoors – whether relaxing in my hammock, hiking, being on the water, fishing, disc golfing, or sitting next to a campfire. When I can find the time, I also enjoy movies, reading, music festivals, and photography.
