I completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology because of my fascination with psychological testing. I love finding out what makes people 'tick' and learning about the inner workings of their behavior and minds through our many standardized assessment tools. I perform many types of psychological assessments including personality/emotional, intellectual/achievement/learning, and ADHD evaluations. I enjoy helping others become proficient in testing through individual, group, and test-specific supervision.
Rapport is key in building trust and allowing people to reveal their core emotions and behaviors. I use humor, empathy, and validation to help build rapport and trust. This will ultimately lead to true and lasting change allowing people to live their best life.
I love traveling - my husband and I aspire to visit all 61 National Parks. I also enjoy needle crafts, cooking & baking, scrapbooking, and spending time at our family cabin. We also have a lovely church home and are active in many programs and services there.
