Clinical Interests:
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, relationship issues, college and student issues, guilt/shame, and spiritual issues.
Clinical Approach:
My work with clients is focused on each individual's needs and their journey towards mental health. Theories that inform my clinical work include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, and Sandtray Therapy. I also incorporate Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques.
In my personal time I enjoy attending theater performances, reading books, puzzles, and playing video games. I also love spending time with family and friends whether we are having a meal together, watching movies, playing strategic board games, or attempting one of the many room-escape challenges in the Twin Cities. Other passions of mine include exercise and yoga, as well as playing with our adorable cats Loki and Samantha.
