I use a lot of behavioral components in my work including token boards, incentives/rewards, first/then language, and extinction. I also enjoy using play therapy techniques such as sand tray therapy, coloring, playing with stuffed animals to discuss difficult experiences and creating interventions out of fun things-feelings jenga, feelings uno, and balloons to discuss emotional stuffing and deep breathing.
I have an 11 month old cat named Gizmo and he is my favorite, even when he is naughty. I also enjoy camping, being with my family and friends and doing arts and crafts. I am currently learning how to quilt, but also enjoy knitting, crocheting, coloring, diamond art and other crafts.
