More About Martha Sepulveda

Clinical Interests:

I focus on trauma, sexual abuse, divorce, addiction, domestic violence, life transitions, grief, stress management, anger and parenting. Specialize in family system, adults, teenagers and children.

Clinical Approach:

My approach is based on client's needs, being present and believing that body, mind and soul connection are keys to enhance the quality of life. Being aware is the beginning of a more peaceful life. In therapy, you take into action that sense of awareness by looking within. I like to integrate different approaches in a family system. I used CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) Focus Solution Therapy, Mindfulness and Trauma work. The main aspect I talked to my clients about is to build themselves up. I am just a bridge of their own internal work. Ultimately, you have the power to make the changes and being committed to your well being. It is not an easy road but it's worth it when it comes to self growth.

Hobbies:

I have been living in USA for 23 years and in Minnesota for 16 years. I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela and I have a deep understanding of cultural changes and backgrounds. I support the Spanish community by giving chats to woman through a non-profit organization called Urban Ventures about self-care and self-esteem. I love to go for walks, spending time with my family, hiking and watch movies.
