Announcing Our First HOPE Hero August Hopson!

We are so excited to share our very first HOPE Hero winner, August Hopson!

August is the Administrative Site Manager in North Liberty, Iowa, and was selected from 82 very worthy nominations. Multiple colleagues took the time to nominate August because they live our values, (Humility, Optimism, People-Centered, and Ethical Practice), every day with patients and people they work with and supervise.

When asked what this award meant to them, August said, “I feel so lucky to be able to advocate, support, and encourage the communities we serve. Thank you all for voting and even more for the work you do, too! So very happy to be a part of this amazing team!”

Patients immediately notice the safe environment August helps create in the office. They take a moment each morning to check in with their staff and offer a kind word. When one patient was having a particularly bad day, August took time out of their busy schedule to be with him. The patient said August’s kindness is the reason he is still alive today! There is no better testament to our HOPE values than that!
